Class Descriptions

HomeTown Fitness offers a variety of group exercise classes to meet all fitness levels. Our group exercise classes are taught with all fitness levels in mind. Feel free to go at your own pace or challenge yourself to a great workout.

Yoga Sculpt
This class uses weights throughout to help sculpt and tone your body as you stretch and move through your yoga poses.

Kettle Bell
Class consists of a full body warm-up, and progresses into teaching the foundation kettle bell lifts (swing, squat pull, clean, snatch, dead lift, press and the Turkish Get Up). Proficiency in these foundation lifts will ensure your success in losing body fat, increasing your strength, correcting strength imbalances and overall general fitness. Classes also include a conditioning segment guaranteed to get your heart rate up and melt body fat while building a solid foundation in form and technique.

The TRX Suspension Trainer
The original, portable bodyweight training tool that helps build muscle, increase flexibility and tighten your core.

Power Hour
Learn the basics of safe and effective total body strength training using the five most common exercise machines. Class is led by a certified Senior Personal Trainer. Class is limited to 10 participants.

Zumba®
The Zumba® program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away. Our goal is simple: We want you to want to work out, to love working out, to get hooked.

SeniorSilver® Sneakers

Step Circuit
Intervals of step & muscle conditioning which increases strength & endurance.

Cross Training
Cross training class combining hi/low, Step & weights for muscular strength.

Kick Box Cardio
Martial arts - based fitness class for a complete body workout.

Spinning
Stationary cycling workout to music. Intense 45 minutes of drills taking you through rides of hills & valleys.

Hip Hop
Hi-energy dance combinations combined with a great workout.

Yoga
Mind-body connection that helps develop focus, balance, strength, & flexibility.

Mat Pilates
Total body workout for core muscles to enhance muscular balance & strength.

Boot Camp
Conditioning Military - inspired circuit workout using calisthenics, & training drills. No matter what your fitness level, this class is for those who want a no nonsense total body workout. Get results!

Belly Dancing
Middle Eastern inspired dance that sculpts and tones your body.

Total Body Conditioning (TBC)
Cross training class combining hi/low, Step & weights for muscular strength.

Spinning Fusion
Split time on a stationary spin bike workout to music. Along with intense core and strengthening exercises.

Did you know that every year in the U.S., workers injured on the job cost companies almost $225 million in lost wages and treatment for back injuries?

If you don’t want to be a statistic, consider attending this class the 1st Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m. This class will review basic anatomy of your back, plus how to use proper body mechanics whether doing work at home or lifting at the gym. Learn how to protect your back with specific strengthening and flexibility exercises.
